In a six-to-three decision the Supreme Court earlier today said that a voter identification card does not violate anybody's constitutional rights. What happened to the other three Supremes?
A voter identification card is more important, in a democratic society, than the Social Security card. No legitimate voter would or should have any objection in identifying that he/she is a citizen of America when voting. If anyone is planning to commit a fraud and participate in voting then that is the person who opposes voter ID.
Similarly those who want to vote "early and often" would also have a problem.
Now, could somebody please tell justices David Souter, Stephen Breyer and Ruth Ginsburg that getting proper voter identification is not as time-consuming or difficult as getting a PhD and that those planning to vote should only be glad to prove that they are a citizen of this great country called United States.

MISLEADING VOTERS WITH NUMBERS
Presidential candidate and New York Senator Hillary Clinton yesterday told an election gathering in New Hampshire that there are 47,000,000 "uninsured" Americans. This is like saying I saw Mrs. Clinton talking to several pairs of legs.
And if I make such a statement the audience would not only laugh at me but also think that either I am crazy or under the influence of some illegal substance. But if I explained that all those pairs of legs were attached to bodies with hands and heads then you would recognize that the audience were people and while talking about people I only noticed their legs. So what Clinton said is only a part of the "health-care in America facts."
HERE IS THE TRUTH. THESE "ESTIMATED-47" MILLION PEOPLE ARE NOT SICK, THEY DO NOT HAVE "HEALTH INSURANCE." AND MANY OF THEM CHOSE TO SPEND THEIR MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE. WHAT WE REALLY NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT IS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT GET SICK EVERY YEAR AND CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY.
Candidates for politicsl offices never tell you the truth about anything, but rather would arouse your emotions to such an extent that you would want to lynch their opponents immediately, even without a trial.
The most important fact about the availability of essential health-care is that in almost every state in the country hospitals cannot deny care for the sick. So here are some truths about health-care and "the uninsured:"
(1) According the Census Bureau, as of this moment - 6.10 p.m. on January 6, 2008 - the population of the United States is 303,183,756 and that means there are 256,283,756 people who are insured. That is 85% of the population and that is good news.
(2) Such is the arousal and desire for promise of "freebies" and inability to distinguish between facts and fiction among many Americans at these emotionally-charged political events that even if Clinton told the audience that there are 470,000,000 uninsured Americans most of them wouldn't even figure out that it might take another 10 years or more for the country to have a population of 470 million!
(3) The most important feature about death in America is that we seldom hear about people dying for lack of health insurance. But thousands die every day from auto accidents and hundreds die at the hands of criminals unleashed into the streets by our criminal industry. Mrs. Clinton seems to have no concern about real death of "the American people."
The real number that scares those who pay taxes is 23-million which is the total number of bureaucrats - all those working for different forms of governments - and the number 3-4 TRILLION which is the amount of dollars every year we Americans spend to pay and care for these "fully-insured" privileged Americans.
If we really want to solve most of our problems which require government solution, we have to recognize that we have an excess four million bureaucrats in America, and if we can eliminate this number by attrition and reducing the size of government we should be able to pay for health-insurance for those who really need it.
So I want all you political candidates with scary-statistics to promise to trim the size of obese governments throughout America and then ask for our votes.
Get a grip on facts and figures and TELL US THE TRUTH.

BRILLIANT THOUGHT BYTE FOR JAN: 21, 2006
America needs a MASSIVE SOCIAL RE-STRUCTURING. We have become a nation of THIEVES, CROOKS, COWARDS and WHINERS. We are a nation under sedation and our infatuation with SPORTS, SOAP, and SEX is at the root of most of our social problems. Politicians should take their share of the blame and citizens should take the rest.

TODAY'S BRILLIANT THOUGHT BYTE
There is no such thing as "monster racism" in America as some people claim there is. This view is actively promoted by politicians who want to divide Americans and capitalize on it.
When it comes to race and ethnicity Americans are no different from people in other parts of the world. What we have should be called UNIVERSAL DIFFERENTIALISM. People all over the world are same in some sense and different in other sense. While basic buman nature is the same we are different ethnic groups, different tribes, different casts and so on. So, admire, appreciate, recognize and cherish our UNIVERSAL DIFFERENTIALISM, and stop blaming America for your perception. The Blogtrotter 01/05/06 - 11.06 p.m. EST.

AMERICA, THE LARGEST CRIMINAL ALLEY IN THE WORLD?
What should be termed as "ECONOMIC CRIMES" are flourishing in America as one of the growing industries. First and foremost among them is EXCESSIVE TAXATION - a "crime" committed by our own elected politicians. For example, billions and billions of dollars are taken away from Americans, with the force of law, transferred into Federal Treasury and lavishly spent by our Congresspersons and Senators. They call it EARMARK! Americans call it P O R K.
During 1995 Medicare alone wasted 20 billion dollars. That was equal to the entire budget of the State of Massachusetts. States and local governments are no better. Even when there is no inflation they all increase their spending sometimes in double-digits every year.
School tax which affects property owners increases the fastest in many parts of the country. Our "education tax" is founded on a flawed principle for modern times. In the olden days when everybody depended on land and agriculture that was the only source for taxation.
Today, education should be the responsibility of parents and free education should be given to only poor children. There is no justification for a retired couple living on social security to support TEACHERS' UNION and THE EDUCATION INDUSTRY. No homeowners should pay school tax for more than 25 years, and every taxpayer should set aside a certain amount for a nation-wide education tax.
Since the Supreme Court's Keelo decision, which has no justification in our Constitution, local governments are embarking on a "Bonnie and Clyde" operation all across the country grabbing homes and properties from innocent Americans. The press is not at all giving this subject the national attention it deserves. Only Fox News has given some coverage.
With the help of the media-tripplets ABC-CBS-NBC the labor unions, elected politicians, sickademia, and other liberal-socialist faction of Americans have taken over the country. Even though Republicans have majority in both the houses of Congress and the Presidency they are no match for the PROPAGANDA POWER of "THE TAX RACKET." The tax racket is all those in America who live on tax collection.
America, wake up!

THANKS AMERICA
The population of the United States of America today - January 1, 2006, as of 7.30 a.m., according to the Census Bureau is 297,824,398.
I hope the year 2006 turns out to be a great year for all Americans. While there is no perfect nation on This Earth, we are privileged to be Americans because America is a GREAT NATION.
SOME OF US ARE SO FREE THAT THEY HATE TO PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE, SOME OF US ARE SO AHEAD OF THE TIMES THAT THEY WANT TO BURN THE FLAG; BUT AS YOU ENJOY YOUR RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES and "ENTITLEMENTS" EVERY DAY, SOMETIMES PAID FOR BY OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY (OPM), IT WOULD BE APPROPRIATED IF YOU COULD AT LEAST SAY:
